Candidates must have successfully completed a Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university, securing the required qualifying marks as per applicable guidelines by NCTE.

Admission to the B.Ed. course is open to candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria as per institutional and regulatory norms. Candidates must have secured at least 50 percent marks in either a Bachelor’s degree and or a Master’s degree in Science Social Science Humanities or Commerce. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics must have obtained a minimum of 55 percent marks. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD and other reserved categories. There is no restriction on the year of passing for applying to the B.Ed. course. Candidates appearing in the final year of their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme are also eligible to apply for admission, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions at the time of admission.
